Criteria for Vacation Accommodation
Sisterhood 4 Vets, Inc. (S4V) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring our “Heroes-Female Veterans” by providing vacation accommodations. S4V offers its program exclusively to female veterans of the United States of America, who reside in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
All veterans submitting an application for the vacation must:
The application must include a testimonial letter that is a minimum of 50 words, not to exceed one page with her application, stating why she should be awarded the vacation. S4V will also accept letters of recommendations on behalf of the applicant. The letter of recommendation also must state why the applicant should be awarded the vacation.
All female veterans that are applying for the vacation are required to complete an application form, and sign a Release of Liability. If selected a copy of DD214 with discharge status is required two (2) days after notification of selection, be submitted to Sisterhood 4 Vets, Inc. The application form and the Release of Liability can be found at our website: www.sisterhood4vets.com. Vacation Accommodation Information
In addition to meeting the criteria, Veterans will be selected for vacation accommodations based upon availability and the number of people traveling with her.
The vacation accommodations will be provided for a maximum of one week; (7 days); however, the stay can be shortened, if desired. The recipient must inform Sisterhood 4 Vets, Inc. (S4V) the length of her vacation on her application. If the female veteran desires to shorten her vacation, persons that are accompanying her must also depart at the same time.
The award recipient must inform S4V if she or anyone accompanying her has physical challenges.
In the event the vacation accommodation requires a cleaning expense for a stay that is less than a week, the fee will be the responsibility of the recipient.
Transportation costs, meals, and incidental expenses are also the sole responsibility of the recipient.
The recipient will be responsible for any damages that occur during her stay at the vacation site.
A credit card is required when reserving the accommodations and at check in.

- be twenty-one (21) years old;
- be medically able to travel to the timeshare resort, vacation home or hotel;
- received an honorable.
